We are calling for your participation in an EASE research survey project.
A group of EASE members is investigating how journal editors handle submissions that need language or writing-quality editing; both from multilingual (non-native) speakers or first-language manuscripts that do not meet standards.
The survey is intended to be completed by anyone with the appropriate insights into the decision-making processes and author services of journals they work with, such as journal editors, managing editors (and other terms for these roles).
It will take around 15 minutes to complete. You can find the survey here: https://ru.surveymonkey.com/r/RZ7JWW9
We would also appreciate it if you could pass along to any other journal editors you may know or post in any relevant academic association groups you are a part of so that we can receive as wide, diverse and large a number of responses as possible.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch with project leads Avi Staiman or Duncan Nicholas with any questions you may have.
On behalf of the entire research group, we thank you very much in advance for your insights and experience, and greatly appreciate your time.
