We are excited to announce that we will be holding a Virtual Conference on Friday, 12 June 2020.
The theme of the event is 'editors and editing in times of crisis', and it will be hosted on a Zoom webinar platform from 9.00am to 1.30pm (London time).
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and after the postponement of our Valencia conference, now moved to 2021, we are delighted to provide our members with an online event. This conference will consider the impact of crisis situations on scholarly and science editors. We will be asking what have we learned, and what lessons can we take away to help us in the future?
This conference is restricted to EASE members who can register for free, but we are offering a 50% discount on EASE membership for the period 1 June to 31 December 2020, which would provide non members a cost-effective way of joining the Conference.
Details about registration, programme and speakers can be viewed on our conference pages here:

With this virtual conference we will introduce the hashtag #EASEevents for delegates and the wider community, primarily on Twitter, but also LinkedIn (and Instagram if you like!) to follow the proceedings, add their own comments and questions on sessions. We will be using this tag for all our conferences and events from now on, recording all EASE-event related activity in one continuous thread.
