EASE at PubMet this week!

 


The annual PubMet conference is nearly here, with the two-day event starting this Wednesday, 16th September, at 10am Central European Time.


Sessions across the two days of the event will discuss multi-faceted approaches to scholarly communication, scholarly publishing and assessment from the perspective of those working closely within open access, OA-focussed projects, and those with the goal of expanding and furthering the development of open access across the publishing landscape.

EASE are proud to be involved in events this year. EASE President Duncan Nicholas will be presenting a session titled Supporting the professional development of Editors with EASE at 16:30 CET on Wednesday

In this talk, Duncan will give an update on the happenings of the European Association of Science Editors. He will give an overview and introduction for those not familiar with EASE, and cover the recent activities, current developments and future strategies of the Association aimed at enhancing and supporting the work of its global network of science editors in their many varied roles.
