We recently announced the addition of our official Vietnamese Chapter to the global EASE network, and today, in collaboration with Chapter Chair Dr. Vuong Quan Hoang, we are proud to officially introduce the EASE Vietnam SciComm system.
This website will become the key interface for the Chapter, enabling the communication and exchange of resources for academic authors, editors, publishers and the Association.
The platform is built on a large database system (with a technical design having been published by Nature's Scientific Data), and has recently been experiencing traffic of between 700-1000 visitors each day. The platform has been dubbed the EASE Vietnam SciComm, and can be found here: https://sc.sshpa.com.
Since its inception at the beginning of this year the Vietnamese Chapter has grown impressively, and now features over 20 members and has seen the recent appointment of an official administrator, Dr Trung Tran from the Vietnam Academy for Ethnic Minorities.
The Chapter aims to support Vietnamese EASE members and the extended professional community, exploring their publishing, editing needs, and facilitating relationships between our international colleagues around the country.
We hope to be developing some regionally focussed resources and activities. Watch this space, and the EASE Vietnam SciComm platform, for details!
